(From Jo)
Dear all,
There's another worksheet for S&L classes (Upp Int / Advanced) which you can use with your in-company and/or PARE groups.
It is about the European Convention for Human Rights with a video of Theresa May saying Britain should leave the ECHR and then a sketch by Patrick Stewart on the same topic as well as some other activities.
You can find the worksheet here:
ECHR - Human Rights S&L Worksheet
The videos have been downloaded onto the server in Granollers (S:\Teachers\03 Levels\03 In-company Levels File\02 Resources\01 Speaking and Listening\2015-2016\S&L UPP INT ADV VIDEOS\ECHR - Human Rights) but you can also find them here:
Theresa May: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=96dmezG1iWk
Patrick Stewart sketch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ptfmAY6M6aA
Enjoy!

Speaking exam practice
Hi all!
With speaking exams coming up it's a good idea to do some practice in class before the exam. Each level should now have practice resources for parts of the exam in the:
03 Tests & Exams\Exams\Speaking exam
Section of the level folder.
For anyone who would like to try additional resources to practice speaking don't forget Paul English has a fantastic Prezi page of speaking resources here:
http://eslprezi.com/speaking-practice/
Good luck with them!

Powerpoint template with Cambridge School logo
(From Penny)
Many teachers use Powerpoint these days to make grammar presentations or games for their classes. Some teachers have suggested that we use a template with the Cambridge School logo on it to make our Powerpoint presentations look more standardised and professional. Nuria has put together a simple template for teachers to use:
The header is quite small so there should still be plenty of space left for text and images.
It would be great if teachers could use this template as much as possible when making Powerpoint presentations. The template is saved in Teachers/Levels.

Another tip for lyricstraining
(from Margo)
You can register on the website and, when
it asks, say you are a language teacher.
Then there is a 5th option at the bottom called "nuevo
ejercicio". You can create an
interactive activity, taking out the words you want to. You choose whether students have to enter by
writing, or by selection. It works well
on the whiteboard and with the "by selection" option, students can
use the interactive pen to select the correct word.

Worksheet generator on lyricstraining.com
(from Maria)
Graeme has discovered a feature on lyricstraining that I'm not sure everyone is aware of (I wasn't!). If you click on print lyrics you can edit the lyrics and easily create a gapfill. Thanks for pointing this out, Graeme!
