(T)FCE quizlet cards unit 1

Dear FCE/TFCE teachers,

I've created a set of Quizlet cards to revise the vocabulary from SB/WB unit 1 (expressions with GET/ON/lifestyle adjectives). To use the cards with your students, go to quizlet.com  and type in dcpeteacher in Search Quizlet.

This is what you should see:

Click on dcpeteacher and then on Unit 1 (get/on/lifestyle adjectives):

Type in the following password: 2015-16course. Do let me know if you haven't used quizlet before and need help accessing the cards.

Modern Family worksheet for final class

Emma has prepared a worksheet to go with an episode of Modern Family called 'Connection lost'.  It's designed to be used with FCE or a similar level.

Both the students' worksheet and the teacher's copy are in the FCE level folder in 'Other material and information'.

PCAE final exam revision - online folder for students

This is the link to a folder on Dropbox that contains all the PCAE final exam practice material:

-          2 listening tasks with answers

-          2 audio files

-          1 reading task with answers

-          1 Powerpoint presentation with grammar questions from units 6-10, with answers

-          The answers to the grammar and vocabulary practice at the back of the Student’s book

Feel free to send it to your students, especially if you didn’t get to do all the reading and listening tasks and the grammar revision presentation in class.

The idea is that they can be used flexibly as you can just skip any parts you don´t like and for example N6 / T2 could use elements from each, as the teacher likes.

PCAE final exam practise

PCAE teachers,

I've put some extra reading and listening tasks in the PCAE level folder, in the final exam folder. They are the same task types as the reading and listening on the final exam.  It would be a good idea to practise these in class before the exam because they are CAE-type tasks, which don't appear in the coursebook we're using.
