Ben has noticed a small discrepancy in the FCE
coursebook/teacher´s book, which might cause teachers some confusion.
P.47 SB ex 5. The answers in the teacher´s book lists
`meat´ as C (countable and uncountable). However in the Grammar reference on p.
167 of the student´s book it lists ´meat´ under the heading of uncountable
(although it does say all these items are ´usually´ uncountable).
So, if your students ask you about this, you can tell them that both pages are correct: the word 'meat' is usually uncountable but can be used in a countable way, although it's not as common.
